How to Travel in Morocco and enjoy your time
There are many ways to travel in Morocco from the trains which run between most towns albeit slowly and cheaply to the Air Maroc planes which take you quickly to your destination.
Whichever you choose you are sure to enjoy yourself on arrival. Morocco's diversity from the Sahara to the Atlas on to Marrakech and Tangier will offer something for everyone.
I travelled for one week in the Sahara by camel braving 2 sandstorms and sleeping in a Berber tent. I would recommend this to anyone with a spirit of adventure. Then I was invited to a wedding first in Tangier and then one in Midelt in the Atlas Mountains. A Morocco wedding is a 'must do' event. They start sometime before midnight and go on to the morning. Depending on the affluence of the family you will either be invited to their house or entertained in lavish grounds with loud music.
My suggestion is that you keep an open mind when travelling and try out the local transport and meet the people. Food is fantastic although newcomers to the country may find the bugs different from their own. Take precautions by drinking bottle water and you should be fine.
There's more to Morocco than the property boom. It's a fabulous country and if you're thinking of staying there or investing then feel welcome to give me a call. You'll find me somewhere in the North usually.
